At the April 4, 2008 Teacher Certification Board meeting, an update on the Illinois School Leader Task Force was given and discussion occurred on the approval process for principal preparation programs and on the principal certification exam.
A handout listing the General Administrative Endorsements Issued by Institution was shared. The Certification Board set up a subcommittee to review the criteria for approving new principal preparation programs and also to discuss the option of annual reports by principal preparation programs to the Teacher Certification Board.
